Our fathers instilled this philosophy in us at an early age and we continue to live by it. This is why many of our customers have been faithful to us for decades.
 

Alfonso Calabrese (our grandfather) immigrated to the United States in 1910 and established Simplex in 1933 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Upon returning from service in the Korean war in 1953, Alfonso’s sons, Angelo and Tony, opened stores in Ozone Park and Middle Village, Queens. In April 2023, Simplex relocated to a larger facility in Freeport, Nassau County.
 

We strive to establish life-long relationships with our customers. Our customers are considered part of the extended Simplex family.
